Welcome to RepLock. By downloading, installing, or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the App

RepLock is an iOS application designed to help users build better habits and reduce distractions by guiding them through scheduled sessions, app restriction flows, and short physical or wellness-based activities.

You may use RepLock only for its intended personal use. You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to bypass, disable, manipulate, or interfere with its core features, scheduling logic, or blocking-related functionality.

2. Age Requirements & Minors

RepLock is intended for users aged 13 and older.

  • If you are under 13 years of age, you may not use the app.
  • If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms of Service on your behalf, and that they accept responsibility for your use of the app and for ensuring your use is safe and appropriate.
  • If you are a parent or guardian permitting a minor (aged 13–17) to use RepLock, you are responsible for supervising their use and ensuring they understand and comply with these Terms.

We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to use the app. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we may suspend or terminate their access.

3. No Account Required

RepLock does not currently require you to create an account to use the app. Certain app data, preferences, and session history may be stored locally on your device.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

RepLock may offer free and paid features. Certain features may require an active subscription.

  • Subscriptions and payments are processed through Apple's App Store.
  • Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and policies.
  • Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds directly.

5. Third-Party Services

RepLock uses trusted third-party services to support parts of the app experience, including:

  • RevenueCat — for subscription management, entitlements, and paywall presentation
  • PostHog — for product analytics and app usage insights

These services may process limited technical and usage data as needed to support app functionality and improvement. Their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Content and Guidance in the App

RepLock may present exercise prompts, stretch recommendations, quotes, mood tracking, and related wellness or habit-building content.

This content is provided for general informational and motivational purposes only. It is NOT:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Fitness coaching or personal training
  • Physical therapy or rehabilitation
  • Mental health treatment or psychological counselling
  • Any other form of professional advice

You are responsible for using good judgment and stopping any activity that feels unsafe, painful, or inappropriate for your condition. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise or wellness routine.

7. Health and Safety Disclaimer

BY USING REPLOCK, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:

  • Physical activity involves inherent risk of injury
  • You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise or wellness routine, especially if you have injuries, medical conditions, physical limitations, or other health concerns
  • RepLock is not responsible for injuries, discomfort, or damages resulting from your use of exercises, stretches, or other activity prompts in the app
  • It is your responsibility to use the app in a safe manner and to stop any activity that does not feel safe or appropriate

8. App Restriction & Screen Time Features

RepLock may request access to Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls features to help users restrict access to selected apps during self-defined focus or discipline periods.

Important limitations:

  • RepLock's blocking features are NOT a substitute for parental controls or supervision
  • You must not configure RepLock's scheduling or blocking features in a way that prevents access to emergency services (112, 999, 911, etc.) or causes safety risks
  • RepLock is not liable for any harm arising from misuse of scheduling or app-restriction features

9. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or unintended purposes
  • Reverse engineer, copy, modify, decompile, or tamper with the app except as permitted by law
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the app's session, schedule, subscription, or blocking-related systems
  • Exploit bugs, errors, or vulnerabilities in the app
  • Use the app in a way that disrupts or harms the service or other users

We may limit or suspend access to the app if we reasonably believe these restrictions have been violated.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

REPLOCK IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from use of the app, including habit formation, fitness improvement, or productivity gains.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • JOOPI LLC, ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE REPLOCK
  • THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY OTHER LOSS, EVEN IF JOOPI LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES
  • JOOPI LLC'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF REPLOCK SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JOOPI LLC FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS ($10.00 USD)

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joopi LLC and its founders, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use or misuse of RepLock; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction-specific notes:

  • EU/UK users: Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU or UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • California users: California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Australian users: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Revised" date at the top of this document. Continued use of RepLock after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
